Painting outdoors in Scotland, both in the summer and autumn, was a wonderful and intense experience. I loved the beautiful and, what it felt like, endless coast and was lucky enough to experience the North Sea in all its moods. I am also so happy to have been able to capture some of its beauty, soft and soothing on some days, awe-inspiring on others.
